OCIA - The Order of the Christian Initiation of Adults
Saint Philip Parish offers Faith Formation for those adults and children, 8 years of age and older, who are interested in full participation in the Catholic Church through the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Eucharist. The process also includes the Rite of Reception of Baptized Christians into the Full Communion of the Catholic Church through the Sacraments of Confirmation and Holy Eucharist. The program also supports uncatechized adults previously baptized in the Catholic faith as well as those preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Saint Philip Parish OCIA process varies as to the needs and preparation of individual persons. There are no specific timelines. Sessions are held on Thursday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:15pm but can be adjusted to fit your schedule.
