In just a few weeks, Saint Philip's will begin a new R.C.I.A. class. R.C.I.A. stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.
The first class for adult will begin on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hope House. Classes will meet on Sundays from 11-12:15. If you are interested in joining the Catholic Church, please contact the Religious Education Office prior to September 13, or just come and show up on September 13.
R.C.I.A. is for you if:
-You have not been baptized before and want to join the Catholic Church;
-You were baptized Catholic but did not receive the complete the Sacraments of Initiation of Confirmation and Eucharist;
-You were baptized in another Christian denomination and want to join the Catholic Church;
-You are interested in converting from another faith to becoming a Catholic Christian (example: Jewish, Hindu, or Muslim).
The Sacraments are typically celebrated at the Easter Vigil.
