Our church windows will undergo repair beginning around the end of April.  Many of the windows that will not open or are difficult to open will be taken out for repair and temporarily replaced with wood.  The cost is approximately $12,000.  Part of the cost will be paid for with a grant of $5,500 from the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation.  We are grateful to the Foundation for their generous grant.  The remainder of the cost will be paid for from our parish's share of the Diocese's recent Capital Campaign.  Thank you for contributing to the Campaign and for all your support.

Please save Sunday, May 24, 2015 on your calendars.  Bishop William Winter, our former pastor, will return to celebrate our parish's 175th anniversary at the 12 Noon Mass.  That Sunday is also Pentecost Sunday, the birthday of the Church and an appropriate day to celebrate the founding of our parish.  Afterwards, we will continue our celebration with lunch at Chartiers Country Club.  The cost of the meal will be reasonable.  We hope that many of you will be able to attend both the Mass and luncheon.  More details will be forthcoming.

Praying the Stations of the Cross—alone or with a group—is a Lenten tradition. Share this online stations of the cross with the children in your family as a way to introduce them to the prayer. Have them imagine the scene in Jerusalem as Jesus walked his Way of the Cross.

St. Philip is once again offering Fish Fry dinners during the Lenten season. Join us on Ash Wednesday and every Friday during Lent. Dinners are served from 4:30 - 7:00 P.M. in the school cafeteria. Get the full menu here.
