The theme for this year's Vacation Bible School is “A Very Mary Sanctuary” and will focus on Mary, the Mother of God. It will be held at Saint Philip Parish on August 13, 14, 15, 2012 from 9:30 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.
Children will participate in story time, crafts, games, prayer and song each day, leading to the celebration of Mass at noon on the last day - the Feast of the Assumption (a holy day of obligation). There will be a cook-out in the courtyard following Mass for participants and family members! We hope to see you there for food, fun and a family craft!
Register children ages 4 yrs through 5th grade. Any children 6th grade and up are encouraged to participate as volunteers alongside adults. The registration fee is $5 per child and the deadline for registration is July 25, 2012 – sorry, no walk in registrations will be accepted. Friends are welcome too, but they must send in a completed registration form along with the fee.
Any adult or teen interested in volunteering is asked to complete the volunteer form and drop it off at the parish office or place it into the collection basket.

Saint Philip Religious Education Program conducts weekly sessions for children in grades K – 8 on Sundays from 8:15 A.M. – 9:30 A.M. beginning Sunday, September 16, 2012 and will conclude April 28, 2013. Children not enrolled in a parochial school must be enrolled in the parish religious education program to receive proper faith formation instruction. This is in addition to what parents, who are the primary teachers of the faith, teach the children at home.
Please download this PDF file and complete one Family Registration form only and a Student Registration form for each child you are registering into the program. The registration fee is $45 per child. Please make checks payable to Saint Philip Parish and write “Religious Education” in the memo line.
