The sacrament of Baptism of Infants and Children is administered on the first and third Sunday of each month immediately after the 12 Noon Mass or during any of the four Sunday Masses.  Parents are required to attend a Baptism class.  Godparents who do not belong to St. Philip Parish need to obtain a sponsor's certificate from the parish in which they are registered.  Please call the parish office to arrange the baptism and to receive further information.

Adults are normally required to attend classes in the parish RCIA program.  Baptisms take place at the Easter Vigil Mass the evening before Easter Sunday.

The sacrament of Confirmation is administered at St. Philip Parish in the spring of each year.  The Diocese sets the date and time.  Children in eighth grade or older are eligible to receive the sacrament.  Adults may also be confirmed at the same time.  Candidates are required to receive the necessary preparation.  In addition, parents of children to be confirmed are expected to attend a Parent Program.

Sunday Masses are on Saturday at 4:00 P.M. (the anticipated Sunday Mass), on Sunday morning at 7:00 A.M. and 10:00 A.M., and the last Mass is at 12 Noon.  Masses on Holy Days of Obligation (except Christmas, New Year's Day and the Easter Vigil) are at 4:00 P.M. (the anticipated Mass), 8:30 A.M., 12 Noon and 7:00 P.M.  Weekday Masses are at 8:30 A.M. Monday through Saturday.  In addition, Mass is celebrated at the three senior citizens' high-rises within St. Philip Parish territory.  At Crafton Towers Mass is celebrated on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:00 A.M.  Mass is celebrated on the second Wednesday of each month at Crafton Plaza at 10:30 A.M. and at Noble Towers at 2:00 P.M.  In the event of bad weather or if a funeral occurs, Mass is rescheduled.

The sacrament of Penance/Reconciliation is scheduled on Saturdays from 12:30 to 1:00 P.M. and after the 4:00 P.M. anticipated Mass.  In addition, Communal Penance Services are scheduled within our cluster of parishes during the Advent and Lenten seasons.  The dates, times and church locations are listed in the bulletin several weeks in advance.  Individual appointments for confession or spiritual direction may also be made with the priest by calling the parish office.
