St. Philip Catholic Men's Fellowship Group is open to all Catholic men from the Pittsburgh area. The group was originally formed in 2004 and has been meeting weekly since then. The current meeting date and time is every Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. in the parish center. While many members meet weekly, any Catholic man is ecouraged to come whenever he is available.
St. Philip Catholic Men's Fellowship Group discusses current issues of our faith and how our faith influences our lives as Catholic men, Catholic fathers, Catholic brothers, Catholic grandfathers and Catholic friends. Topics change weekly, and there are free-flowing discussions which center on our faith.

Christian Mothers and Ladies Guild |

The Christian Mothers and Ladies Guild is a women's group that nurtures and fosters the values that spring from Catholic social teaching. Through service and activities, these values are brought to life by dedicated women of all ages. Members of this group help to thread the social fabric of Catholic values throughout our community. Parish Pastoral Council |

In our Diocese, Pastoral Councils have replaced Parish Councils. In St. Philip Parish the Council is a consultative body which makes recommendations to the pastor, examines and considers all that relates to pastoral work and offers advice so that the life and activity of the People of God conforms to Gospel values. Members of Council offer their time and talents to help keep our parish vibrant and filled with the Holy Spirit. |

Parish Financial Advisory Council |

Church law requires that pastors appoint a Financial Advisory Council to assist them in the temporal affairs of the parish. Our parish Council offers advice to the pastor, prepares the budget for the parish and school, evaluates economic trends and offers suggestions for meeting our financial obligations. |

Festival Committee |

Each year St. Philip Parish sponsors a parish festival on church grounds. Proceeds help to support our parish and school. Food booths, dinners, games, a flea market, raffles and live entertainment attract large crowds. A lot of fun is generated. But the festival requires planning for it to be successful. Volunteers are also needed to man the booths and clean up afterwards. If you are interested in being on the Festival Committee or in helping in any way, please call the parish office. |
